The most important thing about wedding photography is that it is all about you, the bride and the groom.   You have to be
happy with the photographer you pick to work with on your special day.  You need to make sure you like the style of the
photographer you choose, and that you are comfortable working with that photographer.   I  take a more photojournalistic
approach to photography.  I use the best equipment available, have multiple backups of all equipment, and do everything
possible to ensure that I am prepared to make sure that your pictures are the best they can be.   I also take a lot of pictures
because I really like to tell the story of your wedding day from start to finish.   I then provide all of the negatives in DVD form
and in the form of a musical DVD story.   This is a bit of a controversial approach to photography because many photographers
don't believe in selling their negatives and  instead charge per print.  In the past I used that method for sales but it would
disturb me as an artist to see images unutilized because the client could not afford to buy all the images in the packages and
many very good images would simply "go to waste".  So now I provide the client with all of the images so that they are all able to
be enjoyed.

An important part of the wedding package is the engagement shoot.   Many people ask if they really need to do an engagement
shoot or if they can have a credit for not doing an engagement shoot.    I think the engagement shoot is an important part of the
wedding process because it gives me an opportunity to work with the couple and shoot them before the big day.  It lets
everybody relax and get to know one another in a less stressful atmosphere.
